Meeting up in Vienna we will take the train through the picturesque mountainside to the fairytale town of Hallstatt where the mountains meet the water. Salzburg will also be on the itinerary as the inspiration behind Mozart’s greatest works and the filming locations for the Sound of Music.

    This retreat is intentionally small to allow for connection, and unhurried shooting time.

    Once all spots are filled, a waitlist will open. If a space becomes available, waitlisted applicants will be contacted in the order they signed up.

    If a spot opens, you’ll be notified via email and given 24–48 hours to secure your place.

    Is this a workshop or a tour?

    This is a guided photography-friendly tour, not a formal workshop. While there will be on-the-go guidance and conversation around photography, there are no styled shoots or structured lessons. Although you will have opportunities to take photos of other photographers at their will/request. Bring your cutest outfits!

    What level of photography experience is required?

    All experience levels are welcome. Participants should be comfortable using their own camera and eager to explore and photograph independently within a group setting.

    How physically demanding is the tour?

    The itinerary includes a mix of gentle walks, short hikes, and time spent in towns and villages. A reasonable level of mobility is required, but the pace is unhurried.

    Refund & Cancellation Policy

    • Deposits are non-refundable

    • Refunds depend on how close to departure the cancellation is requested

    • Please email me immediately if you need to cancel.

    • You will receive a full refund if I am able to fill it from the waitlist or you are able to find someone to fill your spot.

    Pricing is listed in GBP. USD amounts are approximate and subject to exchange rates at the time of payment.

    Accommodation & Rooming

    • Accommodation is included for 5 nights in comfortable, well-located locations in Austria.

    • Rooms are shared, typically between two guests per room, with separate beds whenever possible. Bathrooms may be shared, depending on the property.

    • Room assignments are made thoughtfully to ensure a comfortable and respectful experience for everyone.

    • A limited number of private rooms may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please indicate your preference at the time of booking.

    What happens if weather changes the itinerary?

    I don’t imagine this being much of an issue during the month of June but I suppose there is always a possibility!

    Rather than following a rigid schedule, we’ll move with the conditions, choosing locations and timing that best suit the day. Come prepared for a range of weather.
